Breakfast at The Archway
We try to excel at breakfast. We offer a varied menu and purchase all the materials we can locally from quality producers, all jams and marmalades are home made (we offer them for sale as well) as is our muesli and granola.
We will be happy to accommodate special dietary needs with notice – our training comes in handy here. Vegetarian options are always available.
A typical breakfast menu is as follows;

Traditional British Options
A classic full English cooked breakfast
including Cumbrian sweet dry cured bacon, sausage,
Bury black pudding, tomato, mushrooms, baked beans and a local farm egg
a vegetarian version is available.
Manx Kipper
grilled in butter served with brown bread and lemon
Naturally smoked Fleetwood Haddock
poached in milk with two poached eggs and lemon
Boiled eggs with soldiers

Something a bit different
American style pancakes
A stack of two or three with warm Canadian maple syrup or a red berry compote
Choose from one of the following
Plain
Banana
Raisin
Apple
Omelettes
A two or three egg omelette with a choice of the following ingredients

Poached/ Scrambled eggs on toast
Scrambled eggs can be cooked with any of the above omelette fillings

Stephen is happy to prepare packed lunches for anyone heading for the fells.
